Her approach is, in her own words, "petit-cochon-va", meaning humorous, grotesque, bordering on the indecent. Hypersensitive, she makes her work a fictionalized and undecipherable diary, in which one can recognize oneself, a relational imprint that is both sexy and abject.

Frédérique Chassé has presented her performance-installation-pictorial work in the exhibitions *Toujours aux aguets/Always on the lookout* (Galerie Deschênes, 2025), *Entre quatre murs (mitoyens)* (2020 and 2021, 6919 Marconi), at the RELIEF evenings (2017), at Galerie UQAM (2016), at Diagonale (2016), and at Gham & Dafe (2015), as well as in numerous alternative art venues.

She has also participated in several collective projects, including the docufiction *Poland in Quebec* (Axenéo7, 2025), the performance *The Summoning of Tinnitus/A Quiet Life Under the Ground* (La Chapelle, 2025), and the performance *Là/dans la convergence…*, presented as part of OFFTA (Fonderie Darling, 2019). They have done several concerts with Presqu’île, notably as part of MUTEK (2021) and Oxygen (2021).
